Call for Artists: Tiny Tag Art

The Mayton Social organization team needs all FALC members to create tiny art for the nametag covers that will be used atThe FALC Mayton Social. This is an open and fun little project without too many guidelines other than the art needs to allow the name to be viewable.

The art can be painted on the tag cover - acrylic works well, or glued onto the plastic cover, the cover can be pierced to hang art, it can be sliced to weave art into it, a transparent insert could printed, painted, or drawn on.  These are just suggestions. Think paper sculpture, wire, beads, shells, mixed media -  whatever inspires you!

Artists interested in this project may pick up blank nametag covers at The Cary Arts Center desk. Just ask for the FALC basket. There you will find the covers, example of what we are thinking of, and complete instructions. Please consider making multiples. There will be 100 guests at The Mayton Social and it would be ideal if all of them were able to take home a unique, personal little piece of art.

Art must be returned back to the Cary Arts Center front desk by 1pm on March 23. Please only take as many blank covers for which you are willing to create art. We'd love you to make multiples, but if you can only make one, take one cover. We have a limited supply.

We have VIPs from the Town of Cary, area artists and our sponsors attending, so let your imagination shine!
