20th Annual FALC Senior Exhibition

The Fine Arts League of Cary (FALC) will hold its 20^th Annual FALC Senior Exhibition at the Cary Senior Center. Work is from residents 55 years and older of Wake County, North Carolina. Open to the Public.

Calendar of Important Dates:

Artwork will be submitted to the Cary Senior Center (120 Maury Odell Pl, Cary NC 27513, phone 919-469-4081) on June 20, 1:00-4:00. Pick-up is scheduled on July 29th from 2-4 PM. Opening Thursday June 23rd from 6PM to 9PM.

Entry Requirements and Eligibility:

• All FALC senior members and all residents 55 years and older of Wake County in North Carolina are eligible to submit up to two pieces of artwork. All entries will be accepted into the exhibition.
• The entrance fee is $15 for the first piece and $10 for the second piece. A “25% of sale” to FALC is requested for any artwork that is sold.
•  Two-dimensional works of art, including works on canvas, board, paper, fabric, and photography, are eligible for entry in the exhibition. Photography printed on canvas is not permitted. Work must be entirely the original work of a single artist and executed after January 1, 2021.  Artwork should be family-friendly and appropriate for the public. 
•  Works must not have been exhibited in previous judged FALC shows.
•  Your submission must be originally conceived using your own or copyright free reference.  Paintings created in an instructional setting, including private instruction, workshops and art classes are not considered original artwork. No copies, mechanical reproductions, molds, or kit work will be accepted.

• All artworks MUST be picked up at the scheduled time and day. FALC is not responsible for unclaimed artwork.

Third Place:   $50.00

Five Honorable Mentions:  $25.00 each
