Artist's Statement
I can’t recall a time when I didn’t have a sense of profound wonder over Creation. It may have started with summer nights sleeping under the stars in the back yard of my childhood home or time spent camping and hiking the back country of Northern Nevada, the Sierras and Southern Idaho. Somewhere along the way, a spark was ignited and I fell in love. My art is a small attempt to highlight the astounding work of the Creator. I consider it a blessing to have gifts and passion that converge.

I studied art from my earliest years through college. I spent a year learning watercolor one-on-one with well respected artist and instructor, Gabriel Stockton. I am happy to be a member of the National Watercolor Society and the Watercolor Society of North Carolina.

My medium of choice is watercolor. You will also see some graphite and charcoal drawings as well as some pastel. I enjoy painting landscapes, dogs and other elements of nature.

Some of my works are displayed at Artmosphere Community Arts Center in Clayton, NC, and in the salon of Hair by Tiffani in Cary, NC.
