Artist's Statement

My art is instinctive, playful and colorful and I refer to my technique as extreme doodling. I was always amazed at my doodling while on a phone call and have taken that art form to another level. I never thought that I would someday do this on purpose. I work in acrylic, colored pencils, various papers and oil pastel crayons. In my “former” life, I painted animal portraits and landscapes. Although rewarding, I really didn’t enjoy the process. So I decided to take the plunge – I took an abstract painting course. I was hooked!

Artist's Bio

My artistic education consists of many years of college art courses in NJ. In addition, I took art classes for 25 years through the Art League School at the Torpedo Factory in Alexandria, Virginia. Those classes include everything from drawing and pottery to oil painting and most recently acrylic painting.
